Donald Aufiero Obituary
Donald Aufiero, 72, passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 at HCC at Bradley in Southington. He was the husband of Neila (Foss) Aufiero. He was born May 5, 1931 in Waterbury son of the late Rosco and Margaret Aufiero. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Everybody's Market in Cheshire. He spent winters in FL and summers in CT, he loved the Yankees and loved baseball and was as baseball catcher in High School. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Clayton Frenette and his wife Eleanor of TX, Kelly Daly and her husband Kevin and Chuck Frenette and his wife Patty all of Southington, a sister, Donna Aufiero, 5 grandchildren, Adam, Katie, Christopher, Joshua and Cameron several nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by a brother Joseph. The Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014, 12 noon at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Burial will be with Military Honors at Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
