Dear Sue,
Our deepest sympathy for the untimely
loss of your husband and best friend. His
paintings have given us much pleasure. We
see them everyday. In our home in FL hangs a picture of our German shepherd Chief that
Don painted at our request, and in our townhouse in CT his swan painting hangs prominently in our living room. Again, our most sincere sympathy.

Uncle Don,
You have left a very large hole in our boat where you always sat and fished. I will always be expecting to see your Dodge Truck parked at the marina with you standing beside it waiting to go fishing.
You were always the first one to get your line in the water and the last one to reel it in. You will always be missed and you will always be remembered.
May warm summer days, clear blue skies, calm seas and a tight line with a 10 lb. summer flounder on the other end always be with you.

I will always remember the strong, virile man who could do more in a day than I could in a week. I still think of those stones around the pool that he seemed to move with ease. My deepest sympathies to the Bement family. Bob and Sheri Monk

Losing a brother is one of life's saddest
experiences.Don was a terrific brother, and we enjoyed traveling life's journey together. He had many interests which enriched his life:painting, fishing, the
environment, wildlife, pets, and sports among them.He was a wonderful human being, family man, friend, and for me my "big" brother. My thoughts and prayers are with
him, and I will miss him immensely for the rest of my life.

Sue,
I'm truly saddened to learn of Don's passing. One of my fondest memories of working at CY is our lunchtime card games. We certainly shared a lot of laughs - especially when Don Miller sat in for another player!
