To The Seelye Family - Please accept my deepest sympathy at Doug's passing. I have so many fond memories of Doug, Hubbard School, East Berlin, Cub Scouts, etc. He was a truly unique soul and anyone who ever met him is a better person for the meeting. He made me laugh, we made each other laugh. Rest In Peace, old friend. Heaven is now a Happier place. Christopher M. Cote

As a classmate at Vermont Academy, I never knew a kinder person. Doug was confident in his uniqueness, and joyful, no matter the circumstances. I can imagine how much he will be missed.
