BUTTERFIELD, Edward R.
Edward "Bob" R. Butterfield, 86, of Windsor Locks loving husband of the late Ann (McClarnon) Butterfield. Bob was born Feb. 5, 1927, in Manhattan, NY the son of the late Frederick and Elizabeth (Fitzpatrick) Butterfield. Bob was born and raised in NY and had two careers one with Princess Ann Girl Coats in NY as a Credit Manager and Equitable Life Assurance as an Insurance Executive. Bob was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Poquonock. He loved playing Pinochle, shopping and enjoyed great food. Bob is survived by his four children, Deborah Graham-Chapps and her husband, Kerry of Windsor Locks, CT, John Butterfield and his wife, Laura of Theills, NY, Bob Butterfield of West Palm Beach, FL and Lisa Butterfield of Wesley Chapel, FL; a brother, Frederick Butterfield and his wife, Marcy of New Bern, NC; a sister-in-law, Mary O'Brien of Bronx, NY and four grandchildren, Alana Graham, John Michael, Julianne and Justin Butterfield. Bob was predeceased by three siblings, Mary Coyle, Betty Skrzypiec and John Butterfield.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Monday, July 15 2013, from 4-8 p.m. at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A Mass of Christian Burial for Bob will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 1747 Poquonock Ave., Poquonock, CT 06064-0253. (Please meet at the church). Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be made St. Joseph Church, 1747 Poquonock Ave., Poquonock, CT 06064-0253.

I'm so sorry for your loss of your dear father. He carried his handicap so bravely throughout his life. Now it's nice to think of him free of it. I'm so sorry for you and your family for the huge loss you are experiencing.
