JAMES, Eleanor D. (Farry)
Eleanor D. (Farry) James, wife of the late Donald G. James, went to dance with her partner on August 3, 2013. She passed at St. Francis Hospital. She had just turned 96 on August 2. She leaves her children Linda Abel-Palakewitz, David G. James, Terri Nicholas. Also eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, whom she cherished. She was predeceased by four siblings. She leaves a sister Martha Famigletti of Farmington and Madison. Eleanor spent 65 years at her summer home at Lake Hayward and enjoyed big family dinners every Sunday and the beach. Her door was always open. Our family wants to thank all the wonderful staff at St. Francis Hospital and the Hospice staff also. Dr. Romano and Dr. Zeldons, thank you for your loving care you gave our mom.
Funeral will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations in her memory can be made to Camp Courant, 285 Broad St., Hartford, CT 06115.

Much love & sympathies to all of Ellie's Family and friends.
I'm so happy that I was able to spend some time with her over these last few years out at the lake. I have missed seeing her on her daily walks this year and will always cherish the moments that she stopped by to talk or share a memory or story. She was a wonderful person and a friend to many. I'm so honored to have known her and to have been a able to share some special moments with her. I know she will be missed by all her family and friends but she will be ever present at the lake and in our hearts.
