PIENICK, Eleanor N. (Niziolek)
Eleanor N. (Niziolek) Pienick, 84, of Ellington, beloved wife of the late Raymond Pienick, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, (October 6, 2013). She was born January 25, 1929 in Windsor Locks, the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Koziel) Niziolek. She grew up in Windsor Locks and after marrying she moved to Ellington. She worked for Pue Accountants for several years. Eleanor is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Shushok of Vernon and Mary Jane Niziolek of Windsor Locks, and many, many cousins. She was a communicant of St. Luke's Church in Ellington for years. She was a wonderful person with a big heart and will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to her caregivers, Arlena Hunley and Daphne Millwood, for all of their loving care and comfort.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family for calling hours on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, from 4-6 p.m. at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home 76 Prospect Street, Rockville, CT 06066. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke's Church 141 Maple Street Ellington, Ct 06029. Burial will follow at St. Bernards Cemetery in Rockville.
