Ellen Beswick

1938 - 2014

Ellen (Tannenbaum) Beswick, 75, of East Windsor, CT and loving wife of William Beswick passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014, at the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain. Ellen was born May 15, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY the only child of the late Otto and Eva (Zimmerman) Tannenbaum. She retired from Dynamic Controls Corp in South Windsor. Ellen enjoyed going to craft shows and playing cards with her friends. In addition to her husband, William to whom she was married 29 years she is also survived by three children: Kimberly McFadden and her husband, Michael of Nabb, IN, Kirk Beswick and his wife, Susan of Meredith, NH and Koreen Waz and her husband, Daniel of Harwood, MD; five grandchildren: Kiera Charlet, Brandon Beswick and his wife, Tiffani, Colin Beswick and his wife, Cassie, Selena Beswick and Kaitlyn Waz; two great grandsons: Gabriel and Michael Beswick; her step-mother, Evangeline Tannebaum; a step-brother, Raymond Williams and his wife, Maria and their three children: Vanessa, Derek and Christopher; two cousins: Linda Muller of NJ and Ronald Zimmerman of Longmeadow. Ellen was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jillian Rose Charlet. Relatives and friends are welcome to join Ellen's family in celebration her life on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, CT. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in memory of Ellen may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Florida 32256.
