Eugene BOURKE Obituary
BOURKE, Eugene A.
Eugene "Gus" Augustus Bourke, 88, of Rocky Hill, passed away on Wednesday (August 6, 2013) at the State Veterans Hospital. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late William and Ada (Braun) Bourke and was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Navy. Gus is survived by two brothers, Edward Bourke of Loudonville, NY and Rene "Rocky Bourke of Windsor Locks; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 12 at 10 a.m. at Levitow Health Care Facility Chapel (Grounds of State Veterans Hospital), 287 West Street, Rocky Hill. Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery in East Windsor where full military honors will be accorded. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.doolittlefuneralservice.com. Doolittle Funeral Home, Middletown is handling the arrangements.
