Eugene Sonni Obituary
Eugene "Gene" Sonni, beloved husband of Dolores "Dee" Sonni, died Saturday, December 21, 2013 in West Hartford. In addition to his wife he is survived by his son John "Jack" Sonni of California, and his daughter Joan Cardella and her husband Gary of Middletown. His four grandchildren; Chris and Julie Cardella, Caitlin and Nadine Sonni, and two great grandchildren, Silas and Hendrix, additionally survive him. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Hebrew Home and Hospital and Hebrew Home Hospice for their loving care of Gene. Burial in CT Veterans Cemetery will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Foodshare (www.foodshare.org), or The Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org). Molloy Funeral Home has care of arrangements.

I will always have Eugene also known as my "him" buddy in my heart. Eugene was part of our family on 4-s and always will be remembered..Especially, that beautiful smile that I believe he was put here to share with us to light up the room..Im glad to have gotten to know the family.
