MONTENIERI, Evelene F.
Evelene F. Montenieri, 84, formerly of Windsor Locks, widow of Anthony J. Montenieri (1999), entered into eternal peace Wednesday October 9, 2013 at Kimberly Hall in Windsor. The daughter of the late Anthony and Florice (Glidden) Patterson, Evelene was born in Keene, NH and had moved to Hartford in 1944. She later lived in Windsor Locks where she raised her family and was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church, before moving to Lawrenceville, GA. Evelene leaves two daughters, Paula Kadish and her husband John of Windsor Locks, Lynn Farmer and her husband Michael of Lawrenceville, GA; a son, John Montenieri and his wife Robin of Loveland, CO; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, Anthony Patterson and his wife Caroline; and a sister, Loraine Lehane. Besides her husband, Evelene was predeceased by a brother, Leon Patterson. Her family wishes to thank the staff at Kimberly Hall North for the excellent care they provided. Also, a special thank you is extended to Michael, Lisa, and Carleen.
Family and friends are invited to the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks at 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14th for a procession to St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 52 South Elm St., Windsor Locks, for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Committal will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13th at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home.
