ROSADO, Felix
Felix Rosado Melendez, 93, of Prospect Hill Rd, Windsor CT, passed away Sunday (October 20, 2013) at home. He was the loving husband of Josefina Rosado for 67 years. Born in Jayuya, PR, May 2, 1920. He served in the US Army 65th Infantry Regiment (The Borinqueneers) in WWII and Korea as a Gunnery Corporal. He is survived by his daughter Migdalia Morales and her husband José Morales of Windsor; two sons and wives, Felix and Norma of Kissimmee FL, Ramon and Daisy of Bloomfield; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Our sincere gratitude to Dr. Fielding Johnson, the VNA Hospice and all caregivers for their kind and special care.
Relatives and friends may join the family on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at St. Augustine RCC, 10 Campfield Ave. Hartford CT 06114 from 5-9 p.m.

Los que tuvimos el placer y el honor de conocer a Don Felix personalmente sabemos cuanto amaba a su familia y cuan orgulloso se sentía por haber servido a su patria representando a nuestra Isla en el 65 de Infantería.
Los Buenos soldados no mueren...solo desaparecen! Hasta luego Don Felix! Duerma tranquilo! Descance en Paz!
