BOURQUE, Frances
Frances (Diotalevi) Bourque, 81, of Newington, the loving husband of the late Warren Bourque, passed away on Saturday (August 24, 2013) at Bel-Air Manor in Newington. Born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Antonio and Palmina (Bevelacqua) Diotalevi, she lived in Newington for nearly 50 years where she was an active member of the Church of the Holy Spirit. She graduated from CT State Teacher's College and was a teacher in Hartford for many years. Frances left teaching to raise her family and later she enjoyed working at the Newington Children's Hospital. Frances' family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Bel-Air Manor as well as SolAmor Hospice for the care and compassion shown to her during her time there. She leaves her children; Paul R. Bourque of Middletown, Denise Marie Smoker and her husband Ernest of Branford, Diane Elizabeth Martin and her husband Thomas of Spencer, MA; her grandchildren Marissa Smoker, Delilah Bourque and Thomas, Sarah and Christopher Martin and her brother Eugene Diotalevi and his wife Anna Dea of Stratford.
Frances' funeral service will begin on Thursday, August 29 at 9:15 a.m. at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave. in Newington, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Newington. She will be laid to rest with her husband Warren in Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield immediately following the Mass. Dear Diane, Paul and entire family,
I am chaplain from the Solamor Hospice, I visited your mother, played flute for her and prayer together. I am sorry for your loss, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayer. May God give your strength to accept this loss. I had a mystical experience when I saw her Saturday morning. I felt the power the presence of God with your mother. Believe she is very pleased to be with her husband now.
Grace and Peace,
Chaplain Enock

Paul, I am so sorry for your lost. Whether someone has been sick for a few months, or several years, when they pass, it's still never easy. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers and never forget how wonderful your mother was to you. She stills lives within each and everyone one of you and should never be forgotten.
