MANNARINO, Frank
Frank Mannarino, 73, of Valdosta, passed away Tuesday, (June 25, 2013) at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Liz Mannarino of Valdosta; his children, Robert Mannarino of South Windsor, CT, Donna Reed of Jensen Beach, FL, Todd Mannarino and wife Eileen of South Windsor, CT, Brenda Heisler and husband Bob of Daytona, FL, Darlene Ursry of Valdosta, Susan Mickler and husband Bubba of Madison, FL, and Macey Mannarino of Valdosta; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Bier of Milford, and Delores Connelly of Rockaway, NY; and many nieces and nephews. Frank was also married to Lillian (Ancona) Mannarino. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his oldest son, Joseph Mannarino; daughter, Paula Ursry; and brother, Richard Mannarino. Frank was raised in Brooklyn, NY, then moved to Connecticut in 1962 where he lived in East Hartford for 17 years and then moved to Stuart, FL and Vero Beach, FL with his family. He has resided in Valdosta, GA for the last 10 years. He was a self-made entrepreneur, with businesses including restaurants and marinas, but most importantly he was a successful residential developer in Hartford County. Frank was a past board member of the Hartford Home Builders Association. He built many homes in and around Hartford County. Frank was known for his honesty and integrity. He enjoyed a diversity of great interests such as boating, golfing, raising horses and cattle, and traveling. Most importantly, he loved and adored his huge family and cherished dear friendships. His personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be dearly missed by all. We will never forget you. We love you!
