MacDONALD, Gail C.
Gail C. MacDonald of Raynham died August 7, 2013 in the Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston. Gail was born in Hartford, CT daughter of the late Ruth (Skinner) and Clifton Bradford Crandall. Gail grew up at Crystal Lake in Ellington, CT and was a graduate of Rockville High School in 1956 and the New England Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in 1959 and was a Registered Nurse. Gail was a proud Alumna of Boston University School of Nursing having earned her Doctorate of Nursing Science and began her teaching career at Greenfield Community College and was a Professor of Nursing at Boston University and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. She was a proud member of Nursing Honors Society, Sigma Theta Tau and was involved in many state and national nursing organizations. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, having been baptized at Crystal Lake Community Church and dedicated her gifts and talents to Christian Education at First UMC of Greenfield, Memorial UMC of Taunton, and Pentecost UMC of Brockton. She leaves behind her loving family: Husband of 52 years, Donald H. MacDonald, Jr., Daughters Robin and Ann, both of Raynham, Sister Corinne (Crandall) Milnes of Ellington, CT, Step Brother Bradford Crandall of CT, Nephews Clifton B. Crandall III; Clinton E. Crandall and Brian A. Milnes Niece Catherine H. (Crandall) Estabrook of Maine and was Pre-deceased by brother Clifton B. Crandall, Jr.
Funeral Service in the First Baptist Church of Raynham 494 Church St. Raynham, Tuesday, August 13th at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Monday, August 12th from 5-8 p.m. in the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford Street Bridgewater. Burial in Pleasant Street Cemetery Raynham. All are welcome to celebrate her life.
