Gertrude "Melissa" GRAFFAM

Mrs. Gertrude "Melissa" (Hart) Graffam, 90, of Bristol, widow of Donald Graffam, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2013 with her family by her side. She is survived by her five children, Susan Saucier and her husband Richard of Terryville, Douglas Graffam and his wife Simone of Bristol, Sharon Nicoletti and her husband Thomas of Bristol, Betsy Stifel and her husband David of Lebanon, David Graffam and his wife Margaret (Peggy) Graffam of Bristol and her daughter-in-law Linda Graffam of Southington, her sister Harriet Kehrein of TN, her brother Willard Hart of Florida, nine grandchildren, three great-granddaughters as well as several special nieces and nephews to carry on her love of family, faith and music. She was predeceased by her son, Roger D. Graffam and her three brothers, Burton, Ernest and Forrest Hart. Funeral services for Mrs. Graffam will be celebrated on Tuesday at 12 p.m. at the Liberty Baptist Church, 265 Maple Avenue in Bristol. Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Committal services will follow in West Cemetery in Plainville.
