Gina Epperson Obituary



Mrs. Gina (Pisco) Epperson, 82 of 57 Avon Ave., passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of William J. Epperson. Gina was born in Morcone, Italy on August 23, 1931 daughter of the late Ferdenando and Lucia (Morrelli) Pisco. She worked as a Food Service Supervisor for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Gina leaves her two sons; William F. Epperson and his wife Lisa of Southington, and Thomas I. Epperson and his wife Lynn of Chicopee, Mass, two brothers, Luigi Pisco of Naples, Italy, and Nunzio Pisco of Morcone, Italy, a sister, Maria Anna DiFiori of Naples, Italy, four grandchildren; Amanda Epperson, William Epperson and his wife Sara of Southington, Tonya Roelofs, and Jessica Epperson both of Montana, and a great grandchild, Mya Roelofs. She was predeceased by a grandson, Matthew Ziemer and a sister, Maria Pisco. She's also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Funeral will be held Tuesday, 9 a.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for a Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Calvary Queen of Peace Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held Monday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Waterbury Parks & Recreation Department, 235 Grand Street Waterbury, CT 06702.
