MOORE, Gregory Brian
Gregory Brian Moore, of Old Saybrook, passed away unexpectedly from a brief illness Friday, June 14th, 2013. He was born November 12th, 1957 son of Jean (Baldoni) Austin. He was a graduate of Old Saybrook High School and received his bachelor's degree from Emerson College, Boston Massachusetts. He spent more than 30 years in the banking industry most recently as an Assistant Vice President of First Niagra Bank, New Haven, CT. He will be remembered for his great passion and knowledge of automobiles, old and new, that was inspired by his grandfather's automobile business when he was a child. Besides his mother, he is survived by his stepfather, Frederick Austin of Old Saybrook, his brother, Richard Moore of Westbrook and his sister, Cynthia Sabia, of Clinton. He also leaves his much beloved nephews, Nicholas and Shaun Sabia of Clinton. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Egidio and Pearl Baldoni and aunt, Betty Varney.
Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Road in Old Saybrook, www.swanfuneralhomeoldsaybrook.com. A memorial service will be held after the calling hours at 11:30 in the funeral home, followed by interment at Riverside Cemetery in Old Saybrook.
