Helen Kozlowski

Helen (Kotynski) Kozlowski, 93, of Berlin died on Friday, November 15, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Kozlowski. Born in Poland, she lived in New Britain 45 years, moving to Berlin about a year ago and was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Church. Mrs. Kozlowski worked at the Hospital for Special Care for many years. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she leaves her two sons Eugene Kozlowski and his wife Eileen of Kensington, John Kozlowski of Deltaville, VA, her daughter Helena Kotynski and her husband Charles of Louisberg, NC, her son-in-law Bryant Collins of Jacksonville, NC, seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Elizabeth "Wendy" Collins. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, 9 a.m. from Burritt Hill Funeral Home, 332 Burritt St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church. She will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m., at Burritt Hill.
