LEDERER, Helmut
Helmut Lederer, beloved husband to Christel for 59 years, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2013, at age 81, while in the arms of his loving wife. He immigrated from Germany to the U.S. in 1951, residing first in Springfield, MA and then Vernon, for 33 years. In addition to his wife, Helmut is survived by his daughters, Rosemarie (wife of Ed), Christine, and Evelyn (fiancee of Herbert), his grandchildren, Daniel (husband of Birgit), Regina (wife of Mateo), Krystal and Erik; his great-grandson, Leon; and many lovng cousins in the U.S. and Germany.
There will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 19, 2013 at St. Bernard Church, 25 St. Bernard Terr., Rockville, CT. An interment service will follow at Valley Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Hartford Saengerbund or The Cancer Society.

Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Onkel Helmut will be missed greatly. When I saw this it brings back so many memories of Thanksgiving in Connecticut. Love Mary Ellen, Jeffery, Tonya, Karl and Kathlene Roubik, and Rannveig and Svein Klinge.
