Dear Deb...I just learned today of Irene's passing and have been fighting back the tears. I was about to send an 'e' card for her birthday and decided to check fb and see what was happening in your lives before doing so and then learned she is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with you as she has left a huge void in so many lives and especially you and the boys.

I am so sorry to hear of Irene's passing. She was my attorney when I first came to Connecticut, and she really provided solid legal advice with a good heart. I am so stunned to hear the news, and will be grateful always for how easy she was to work with and the specific work she did to help and protect me during some difficult times.

Words can not empress the sadness one feels when we lose someone so dear to us. Irene was a remarkable and talented women. We've shared many laughs over the last forty years. One of my most fondest memories is when the Ice storm of "73" hit. No power for a week, three families bunked at the Olszweski's staying warm around the pot belly stove that Ziggy had just put in.Irene although you will be missed by so many of us here, I will always put on a smile when I think about the great company you are now in.Rest in peace my friend!

Thoughts and prayers are with Debbie, Jason and Matthew today and always.

I met Irene when I was recording at a studio. Later, I performed with her in a violin-accordion duo and was very impressed by her talent. In addition to being an accomplished musician, she was also a loving mother and successful attorney. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. God bless you. R.I.P. Irene.

It has been a few years now that I lost touch with Irene; however, I knew her as the glue that held everything and everyone together. It is very hard for me to imagine her not playing that huge role; she is now playing a much larger role, a beautiful angel watching over and protecting her two sons which she cherished to the moon and back. Irene, rest in peace knowing you did it all, your way!!

Sending condolences to Deb and the boys, and Irene's entire family. We will miss her deeply, but she sure created a lot of great memories that will live on for many years. And, we are all so lucky to be able to enjoy her music. Moby, when I feel sad and miss you, I have to think back to the day you, me, and Deb drove up to the rec at Brialee to get internet service and while we were in the rec hall, we heard shouts that the golf cart was on fire! out of that evolved another one of your amazing songs. We may not have you here with us in the physical sense, but your spirit lives on! Rest in peace, and thank you for being such a great friend. Love, Donna and Bob

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Irene. I have not seen her in years but many of my younger memories are riding around the state of Ct. with her and Joey and the band and working as their roadie to help them set up for many shows that they performed.
