Isamar Luciano Obituary
Isamar Luciano, 38, lived in West Hartford. She graduated with a BA from Recinto Universitario de Mayaguez in PR with a Summa Cum Laude. She worked for Buckley High School for 16 years. Isamar was a caregiver to all of her family, loved reading books to her boys. She left behind Michael, Matthew & Alexander her sons, the love of her life Jose Cortes, her parents Hector Sr. & Elisa, her brothers Hector Jr. & Dennis Luciano, her second parents Hector & Carmen, her sisters Gisella, Loraine, & Marlane Ruiz. Wake this Wednesday at 5:00 PM at De Leon Funeral Home, Mass on Thursday 10AM at Our Lady of Sorrow. Burial at St Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield.http://isamarluciano.wordpress.com/

Isamar was a light in the room and a delight to share grad classes with at UConn with Dr. Rojas. She had a passion for gaining knowledge to enrich the lives of each student she taught. In turn, she taught valuable life lessons to her boys back at home. During this time of loss & grief, I pray for His comfort and support during the days & months ahead. Find comfort in knowing she has left an amazing legacy. Celebrating a life well lived. We will all cherish the memories forever.
