Jean Frahm Obituary
Jean P. (Appleton) Frahm, 78, of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of Avon, beloved wife of Donald R. Frahm, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Born in Liverpool, England, daughter of the late Eric and Bessie (White) Appleton, she lived in Avon over 35 years before retiring to Palm Coast, FL. An active member of the West Avon Congregational Church, Jean had been a Sunday School teacher for over 20 years and participated in the Women's Bible Study. She was an avid tennis player and belonged to the Golf Club of Avon, Farmington Farms, and Hammock Dunes Country Club, Palm Coast, FL. She had been involved with many charitable organizations while living in Avon. Besides her husband Donald of 52 years, she leaves her daughter Heather Frahm and her husband William Cronin of Weston, MA; two sons Timothy J. Frahm and his wife Martha of Winchester, MA and Mark R. Frahm and his wife Julie of Coronado, CA; three brothers Allan Appleton of Australia, Rodney and Colin Appleton both of Manchester, England; six grandchildren Elizabeth and William Cronin, John, David, and Michael Frahm, and Jack Frahm. She also leaves a nephew David Appleton and his wife Rocio and their children Theodore and Mercedes Appleton. Her funeral service will be Sunday, Jan. 5, at 12 Noon at the West Avon Congregational Church, Avon. Burial will follow in West Avon Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Saturday, Jan 4, from 3-6 PM at the Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center, 301 Country Club Road, Avon. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Mr. Frahm, i have just learned about Jeans passing. I know four years have passed, but I know the pain is still there as I lost my Mike in January if 2013. I miss him so much. I so enjoyed Jean and remember her favorite flower being Freshia. God Bless and know you are in my prayers.

Dearest Don, Heather, Tim, and Mark,
It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of this most lovely woman, wife and mother. Jean showed her grace, courage, and humor often and without fail. She is one of my favorite people and I was blessed to know her. And she is one of Matthew's favorites.......he can hear her voice saying hello to him with the same phrase, which he can imitate and which unfailing made him happy.
I am sorry that I was unaware of her passing until now. I can only believe that she is at peace and I hope you all are at peace as you miss her mightily.

Dear Don, Heather, Tim, Mark and all your family members. We will miss Jean so much. I was glad to have been able to give her personal care and help while she was preparing to move to MA. It was an honor to get to know her better. She was very brave , kind and loving. May God comfort you all during this difficult time an may all your happy memories cause you to smile and remember what an amazing woman she was.
