TABACCA, Jean T. (Haidas)
Jean T. (Haidas) Tabacca, 94, passed away on November 1, 2013 (All Saints Day) at Middlesex Hospital, Middletown. She was born in New Britain on October 20, 1919 to the late Joseph and Michalina Haidas. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Tabacca. Jean was a warm and loving mother and wife who devoted her life to her family. She had a great sense of humor and you could always see a sparkle in her eye, a smile on her face and hear laughter in her voice. She leaves behind countless memories of joy, and happiness to all whose lives she touched. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children James Tabacca of CA, Laura Tabacca and fiancé Jeff Lagasse of Chester, Frank Tabacca of CA, Joseph Tabacca and wife Enora Paugam of NYC, her niece Sandy Harmon and husband Ken of NC; her brother-in-law Alvin Nelson of New Britain. She also leaves several great nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her sister Alice Nelson, brothers, William and Joseph Haidas, and niece Janice Schubert.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, 10 AM Directly at St. Ann's Church, North Street, New Britain. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067. You should of still been here to celebrate your 100th birthday this year, but God had better plans for you in heaven with Him. Hopefully everyone gather around for you to enjoy the day.
