LENIART, Jeane N.
Jeane N. Leniart, 82, of Windsor Locks, beloved wife of Valerian Leniart, Jr., passed away peacefully Wednesday, (July 31, 2013) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hartford, daughter of the late Theodore and Anna (Miseiszk) Niemiroski, and graduated from Mount St. Joseph Academy in West Hartford in 1950. Jeane married Valerian in 1952 and shortly thereafter settled in Windsor Locks. Jeane attended St. Mary Church in Windsor Locks and retired as a loan officer from Hartford National Bank after many years of service. During her leisure time, she enjoyed baking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her husband Val, Jeane leaves her son, Kevin Leniart of Windsor Locks and a daughter, Linda S. Wilkosz and her husband Stephen of Vernon; a brother, Joseph Niemiroski and his wife Phyllis of Suffield; two grandchildren, Jennifer Sasenaraine and Gregory Wilkosz and his wife Jennifer; and four great-grandchildren, Andrew, Sara Jeane, Cecilia, and Theodore. She was predeceased by an infant brother, Peter as well as four other siblings, Steven and Johnny Niemiroski, Stephanie Ulmschneider, and Rose Maliga.
Funeral services will begin from Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave. in Windsor on Monday, 8:30 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church and burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Windsor Locks. Her family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
