NEFF, Jill M. (Montgomery)
Jill M. (Montgomery) Neff, 80, of Bloomfield, died Thursday, (August 1, 2013). She was born Feb. 22, 1933 in New Haven to the late William and Blanche (Murphy) Montgomery. She retired from the Southern New England Telephone Company. She was very involved in Cub Scouts where she served as Den Mother. She enjoyed knitting and playing card and domino games. Her Biggest accomplishment was being a loving and supportive mom to her four boys. She is survived by her sons; Rodrick and his wife Jeanene of Ellington, David and his wife Lynne of Manchester, James and his wife Susan of East Hartford and Eric and his wife Judi of Raleigh, NC; her sister Jacqueline O'Connor of Portland, ME; five grandchildren, Sarah, Dakin, Matthew, Erinne and Chloe. She was predeceased by her husband Harry K. Neff, Jr and her daughter, Paula Neff.
Memorial Donations in Jill's name can be made to The American Parkinson Disease Association-Connecticut Chapter, PO Box 718, Old Mystic, CT 06372. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge, 141 Orchard St., Ellington. For online condolences please visit www.pietrasfuneralhome.com
