To the Family: Johnnie was a very special person to me and my mom. I grew up at Hopewell Baptist Church and even though, I moved on to another church when I would come back to visit Johnnie would always tease me that "The doors of the church are open". I will miss his kindness, and sense of humor. I send my condolences to the family and I pray God will give you strength and peace during this time of loss. He was a great man and his legacy will live on through his family and many other people he touched.
