Joseph Frazzetta

Joseph Frazzetta, 78, of New York City, formerly of New Britain, passed away December 17th, 2013 after battling cancer for almost a year. Joseph left New Britain at the age of 19 and moved to New York City to pursue his passion for the theater. As a young man he acted in off-Broadway productions, and even published a few articles about some of his favorite actors. Joseph taught school in New York for many years but remained an aficionado who never lost his love for collecting musical and theatrical memorabilia. Joseph was pre-deceased by his mother, Constance Frazzetta, and his sister, Dolores Polidori, both of New Britain. He leaves two nieces: Kathy Gilbert of Derry, New Hampshire, and Susan Bordonaro of Berlin, and three great-nephews: Michael Gilbert, and David and Steven Bordonaro. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, Dec. 21st at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited for calling hours from 10:00 AM to the time of service at the New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home.
