June Molava Obituary



June J. Molava 89, passed peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2013. Born in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. She lived in many Wisconsin towns before graduating from Madison Central H. S. in 1941. She spent her last 53 years living in Simsbury and the Greater Hartford area. With her lovely singing voice she was active in the Methodist Church of Simsbury, the Simsbury Light Opera Company and then the West Hartford United Methodist Church. June worked for the University of Hartford for 23 years. She held various administrative positions including Secretary to the Board of Trustees. While at the University of Hartford she earned her bachelors degree. She then went on to earn her Masters Degree at St. Joe's College in West Hartford, CT. June leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving twin sister, Joyce Parker. She will be greatly missed by her adoring sons, Richard Hendrickson and his spouse Lynne and Donald Hendrickson and his spouse Mary. She had 5 cherished grandchildren and their spouses, Kristin and David Matteo, Scott and Katrin, Todd and Donna, Kate and Brittany Hendrickson, Lisa and Patrick Fialka and her five precious great grandchildren Drew, Ryan, Olivia, Sadie and Scarlett. A Private Memorial Service will be held in New Jersey on November 23. Memorial contributions may be made to the West Hartford United Church, 1358 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, CT 06110 in memory of June.
