Kamesha Mills Obituary
Kamesha V. Mills passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the age of 23. She was born on January 4, 1990 in Hartford, CT, the daughter of Kenneth Blue and the late Janice T. Jones-Mills. She was a graduate of South Windsor High School. Kamesha was employed by XL Center. She enjoyed shopping, especially for her daughter, Miley, bowling, cooking and hanging out with friends and her Boo (Brittany). She was a loving mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed by all. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Miley Morris, of Manchester; her father Kenneth Blue (Tirena) of Hartford; her siblings Jamir Mills, Jordan Jones, Keyonni Jones, Taneisha Mack, Brittany Everett, all of Hartford, Tiffany Blue and Keara Blue, of Manchester, Sage Dixon of Windsor; her grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and God-sister Charnaultta Knight. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at 10 a.m., at the Crossroads Community Cathedral, 1492 Silver Lane, East Hartford, CT. Burial will follow at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT. Her family will receive friends on Saturday prior to the service from 9-10 a.m. at the church. Carmon Windsor Funeral Home has care of the arrangements. Donations may be made to a trust as follows: Toshua Parker c/o Miley Morris at Wells Fargo Bank, 44 Jerome Ave., Bloomfield, CT 06002. Only God can understand how the whole family feels right now. I was so thrilled when Janice and I reconnected last year October. We caught up on family. She talked about Kamesha and Miley and her kids, we talked about Gwen and Toshua, Brittany and Janae. We caught up on years passed. 5 Months had passed since I spoke to my friend and I was thinking about her, so I called asking for her only to find out she went to heaven Easter. I felt like someone punched me in the stomach and took my breath away. Here again I was thinking about her family and was about to make the call to see how every one is doing, then I got a phone call about this tragedy. Sis Mill, Debra, Val, Darren, Greg please know I am praying for GOD's peace and comfort to guide you through this season of grief. Kamesha and Brittany are with their moms. I pray especially for the kids that God will help them when things don't make sense, to heal their broken hearts and to fill the void that is now there.

I am so sorry for the loss of the beautiful Kamesha. I was blessed to be one of Meesha's teachers in high school for 4 years. I grew very close to her and to her mother, Janice. I loved her dearly and admired her fiesty nature and her loyalty to those that she loved. Although I hadn't seen in her in a few years, I cherish the day she came back to see me at the high school simply to give me a hug and to tell me that she was doing well. She was a light in my life. I did not know Kamesha, but when I read that she and her cousin, Brittany had passed on the same day, I knew in my heart that they had died in a tragedy. I have been a long-life resident of Manchester and I live not far from where this tragedy occurred. Kamesha was a lovely woman, I am so sorry for your loss.
