Kelsey Jean (Malone) Howell, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Tuesday (November 12, 2013) at her home at the tender age of 24. Kelsey was born on October 9, 1989 in Rockville and grew up in Coventry, graduating from Coventry High School in 2007. Kelsey attended Gibbs College in Farmington, and IADT in Tampa, FL. Kelsey had been employed by Walmart as a retail supervisor and was previously employed by Disneyworld in Orlando. Kelsey is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Jerry; son Jacob and daughter Taylor; parents, Joyce (Friedrich) Malone of Coventry and Mark Malone of Fort Myers, FL; sisters Mackenzie Malone of Coventry and Rylee Malone of Southington; grandparents Patricia Levitsky of Fort Myers, FL, Richard and Mary Malone of Tolland, predeceased grandparents Jean (Octigan) and William Friedrich of Enfield; father-in-law Jerry Howell and wife Cheri of Homosassa, mother in-law Christie Howell of Lee, NH; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends both in Connecticut and Florida. Kelsey's beautiful smile and radiant laugh will forever be embedded in our memories. A celebration and remembrance of Kelsey's life will be held at Patriot's Park Lodge, 172 Lake Street, Coventry, CT on Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to The Hope Lodge 2121 SW 16th Street, Gainesville, FL 32608 or to Citrus County Hospice, 8471 Periwinkle Lane, Homosassa, FL 34446.
