Lena Pacheco Obituary
Lena A. Pacheco, 88, of South Windsor, loving and devoted wife to Joseph E. Pacheco, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in Hartford Hospital. Born March 2, 1925 in Providence, RI, she was a daughter to the late Michael and Jennifer (Adamo) Fascitelli. In addition to her husband of nearly 67 years, Joseph, she is survived by her daughters Carol Cusanelli of Enfield, CT, and Lori Cameron and her husband, Donald of Waterbury, CT; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother John Fascitelli; sister Anna Cassino; and other loving relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her 2 brothers. Calling hours for Lena will be held from 4-8pm on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Saturday, January 25th at St. Margaret Mary Church, 80 Hayes Rd., South Windsor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lena's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
