Lisa Poudrier Obituary

Lisa Hooper Poudrier peacefully returned home to her Lord on November 16, 2013 after a courageous year long battle with cancer. She spent her last days surrounded by loving family and close friends. Born to Edmund and the late Dorothy (Benson) Hooper of Acton, MA on December 16, 1957, she married the love of her life Robert Poudrier in 2002 and resided in East Granby, CT before relocating to Myrtle Beach, SC. Lisa is survived by her husband Robert, her children Jessie of Myrtle Beach, Robert & Suzanne of Amston, CT, Karen & George Dube of Windsor, VA, and siblings Susan (Hooper) & George Pellerin of Hudson, MA, Dana & Diane Hooper of Wrentham, MA, nephew David Hooper, and mother-in-law Cecile Poudrier of Uxbridge, MA. She is the cherished grandmother of Ben & Danielle Poudrier, Will, Lindsay & Kaitlyn Dube, and Alanna & Emily Rubin. Lisa's greatest joy and highest priority in life were her family and friends. She loved walks on the beach, traveling, wine, family gatherings, scrapbooking, and was an avid reader. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on November 21, 2013 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 65 Crooked Oak Drive, Pawleys Island, SC. A memorial funeral service for family and friends in New England will be held at First Church (Congregational) Marlborough, 37 High Street, Marlborough, MA at 1pm on November 30, 2013. Lisa you always had a beautiful smile and a very loving heart. You will be missed by many. I know you are at peace now and no more pain. God has just taken a beautiful Angel to look over us. I hope it's "purple" in heaven. Will miss you dear friend. My sincere condolences to your family.
