OUELLETTE, Lorraine G.
Lorraine G. Ouellette, age 71, of Westbrook, passed away on Wednesday, September 11th at Apple Rehabilitation in Old Saybrook. Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Reynold Ouellette. She was born on October 3, 1941 in Saint Basile, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Raymond and Edna (Roussell) Bouchard. Lorraine had been a resident of Westbrook for the last 18 years and was formerly of Matawaska Maine. Lorraine had worked in the packing department at Monsanto in Deep River for 12 years and also owned and operated Deep River Pizza from 1982 to 1984. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Lorraine was an avid gardener and enjoyed knitting and crochet. She is survived by her daughters, Denise M. Hirsch, of Moodus and Linda Gambardella, of North Haven. She also leaves her six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, five brothers, and one sister. Besides her beloved husband Reynold who passed away in 1993 she was predeceased by her daughter Rachel M. Ouellette in 2011.
Visitation will be held at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook on Sunday, Sept. 15th from 1:30PM to 2:30PM. Lorraine's funeral service will be conducted at 2:30PM. A graveside service will be privately held by the family in the Fountain Hill Cemetery in Deep River.
