RENOCK, Louise (Cefaratti)
Louise (Cefaratti) Renock, 74, of New Britain, widow of William P. Renock, passed away Friday, (July 12, 2013) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. A lifelong New Britain resident, Louise is a Graduate of New Britain High School, Class of 1956 and was employed at the UConn Law School for 17 years until her retirement in 2004. She was an active member of St. Ann Church in New Britain and was a former Church Lector. Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Babin and her husband Jeffrey of Bristol, Marci Bordieri and her husband Joseph of Avon; a step daughter Lori Beaudoin of Middletown; a step son, William J. Renock and his wife Claudette of Bristol; seven grandchildren, Corey and Kyle Babin, Kara and Jenna Bordieri, Jason and Jennifer Beaudoin, and William Renock; many nieces and nephews; as well as her cherished dog Lily. Besides her husband William, she was predeceased by six brothers, Michael, Joseph, Charles, Robert, George and Alfred Cefaratti; and a sister, Antoinette Peloquin.
Funeral Services are Wednesday, 9 a.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 101 North Street, New Britain. Entombment will be in St. Mary Mausoleum, New Britain. Calling hours are Tuesday 5-8 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or to the CT Humane Society, Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111. Louise was a warm and wonderful colleague at the University of Connecticut School of Law. I and many others valued her contributions to our work immensely, and considered her a loyal friend. To her family, we express our deepest condolences.
