MISIORSKI, Lucia "Lucy" (Linoci)
Lucia "Lucy" (Linoci) Misiorski, 86, of New Britain, CT, passed to eternal life Saturday, (October 26, 2013) at The Hospital of Central CT at New Britain General. Lucy was born July 29, 1927 in New Britain and was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Anna (Petruzzello) Linoci. She worked as a phone operator for SNET and most of her career was as a receptionist at New Britain General Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of New Britain and a member of St. Joseph Church, New Britain. Lucy was a devoted and loving mother and grandma who enjoyed spending time with her family watching sports, Sunday gatherings with her grandchildren, reading, word scrambles, and trips to the casino. Lucy is survived by her two sons, Alan Misiorski of New Britain and David Misiorski and his wife Bonnie of Southington, CT; her four grandchildren, Adam, Lauren, Evan and Katlin. Lucy was predeceased by her beloved husband Walter "Larry" Misiorski and her sister Mary (Linoci) Baker.
Funeral rites for Lucy will be held Thursday, October 31, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. with the procession departing at 10 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker/Farmingdale Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, Ct. followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 195 South Main Street, New Britain, CT. Committal service and final resting place will be in St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley Street, New Britain, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker/Farmingdale Funeral Home, Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Directions to funeral home: I-84 East or West- Exit 37 (Fienemann Road) right off exit- one mile down on right.
