KALISH, Lucille (Southmayd)
Lucille (Southmayd) Kalish, wife of Stanley J. Kalish of Cromwell, died Monday, (May 30, 2013) at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 25, 1928 in Middletown, the daughter of the late Walter Atkinson Southmayd and Mary (Maher) Southmayd. Lucille was a legal secretary before her retirement. She was a member of St. John Church in Cromwell. In addition to her loving husband of 60 years, Lucille leaves two daughters, Janet K Szymanski and her husband John H. Szymanski of Deep River, Paula M Wright and her husband Kenneth Wright of Cromwell and three special grand-dogs, Bo, Patterson and Remy. She is also survived by several nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Marguerite S. Herbert Nelson, John Grabek and Evelyn S. McNeil.
In honor of Lucille's wishes, there are no calling hours, services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
