Margaret Withey Obituary
Margaret Merkley Withey of Canton, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2013. Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton on Friday, Nov. 15th from 4 PM to 7 PM. A memorial service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Saturday, Nov. 16th at 2 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret's memory to Green Peace, 702 H Street NW, Suite 300, Washington, DC 20001 or at greenpeace.org. Please visit Margaret's "Book of Memories" at www.vincentfuneralhome.com for online condolences.

I remember her smile..her wit...her deep love of her family and her gracious presence...and how brave and selfless she was, even at the end she reached out her hand and embraced her the future ...and so much more...my heart and love goes out to you her family

Jeff, Bruce, Ann and family
Visiting with your mom has been a memorable experience. As I've been told we were obviously cut from the same cloth...books, music, politics , Greenpeace and feminism....what wonderful conversations we had !
