Mary Anderson

Mary (Titus) Anderson, 99, of Newington, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Sunday, December 29, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Timothy Anderson. Born in Hartford, she was a long time City resident until she and her husband moved to Newington many years ago. Mary was a member of St. Mary's Church as well as the Polish American Club, Newington. Her survivors include her son, Robert Anderson of Windsor Locks, and a daughter-in-law, Susan Anderson of Parrish, FL; four grandchildren: Robert Anderson and his wife Sharon of Somers, Patricia Ridzon and her husband John of Ellington, Timothy Anderson, and Amanda Rawley and her husband Aaron, all of Parrish, FL; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Timothy Anderson, Jr. Mary's family would like to express its sincere appreciation to Zita for her loving care which allowed Mother to stay home for all these years. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 2nd, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church.
