Mary FORTIN Obituary
FORTIN, Mary C.
Mary C. Fortin, 99 of Mohawk Street, Middletown, wife of the late George M. Fortin, died on Tuesday at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on July 31, 1914 in Willimantic and was the daughter of the late Rosario and Ann Marie (Tedesco) Macione. She had been a resident of Middletown most of her life and a member of St. John's Church in Middletown. Mary is survived by her loving family, a son, Dr. Michael J. Fortin of Middletown; three daughters, Carol Campbell, Beverly Kennedy, and Janice Rosa, all of Middletown; a brother, Joseph Macione of Tolland; two sisters, Antoinette Macione of Willimantic and Francesca Dussault of Glastonbury; two grandchildren, Evan Kennedy and Kara and her husband Michael Cebula, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Coughlin-Lastrina Funeral Home, 491 High Street, Middletown followed by a mass of Christian burial in St. John's Church, Middletown at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the family plot in St. John's Cemetery, Middletown. There are no calling hours.
