Mary A. Kasper

Mary A. Kasper, 91, of West Hartford and formerly of Hartford, Wethersfield, and Rocky Hill, entered into the Lord's embrace Sunday, November 24, 2013. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Marian and Mary (Jozefowicz) Kasperkiewicz. Miss Kasper was a lifelong resident of greater Hartford and retired from the Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Co., where she had been employed for more than 40 years. She was a Communicant of SS Cyril & Methodius Church, Hartford, and of Corpus Christi Church, Wethersfield, and a member of the Golden Seniors Club of SS Cyril & Methodius Church. She was a caring daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph F. Kasper; by her sisters, Anne M. Kasper and Frances M. Kasper; and by her nephew, Richard J. Kasper. She is survived by her nephew, Joseph F. Kasper, Jr., and his wife, Louise G. Hersey, of New Smyrna Beach, FL. She is also survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday November 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in SS Cyril & Methodius Church, 63 Popieluszko Ct., Hartford, CT 06106. Burial will follow at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT 06002. There will be no calling hours.
