I met Mary on a trip to Russia many years ago and we later took trips together to Eastern Europe and Turkey. She was a dear friend and an absolute wealth of information on the historical, artistic, and religious significance of the places we visited.

Mrs. MacDonnell was my principal during my years at Maloney H.S. in Meriden. She was a strict but fair principal and I appreciated her kindness and leadership while I was in attendance there. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
