PIOTROWSKI, Mary A.

Mary A. (Krpata) Piotrowski, 89, widow of Stanley Piotrowski, Sr., died Friday, (July 19, 2013) at home surrounded by her family. She was born June 14, 1924 in Lawrence, NY and was a daughter of the late Charles and Helen A. (Ueblacker) Krapata. She had lived in Terryville for many years before moving to Bristol. She was an assembler at the former Bussman's for many years before retiring. Mary was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Capt. Edmund Zbikowski Post #2, PLAV. She was everyone's mother and grandmother. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. Mary enjoyed visiting the casino's, shopping, NASCAR, and was an avid Yankees Fan. She was also a very strong willed woman. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley and Adrianna Piotrowski, Jr. of Bristol, and Raymond and Michelle Piotrowski of Middletown, five daughters and four sons-in-law, Joyce and James Saulnier of Bristol, Joanne and Bob Bohn of Roanoke, VA, Janice and Bill Madore of Terryville, Susan and Kevin Murtha of Naples, FL, and Marie Singleton of San Diego, CA, fifteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her twelve brothers and sisters.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, 9 a.m. from DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, followed by a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Gregory Church, 235 Maltby St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Calling hours will be held Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
