Merrill JARRELL Obituary
JARRELL, Merrill E. Jr.
Merrill E. Jarrell Jr., of Glastonbury, died October 22, 2013 at home after a long battle with diabetes. He was born in Hartford the son of the late Merrill E. Jarrell Sr. and Phyllis (Powers) Jarrell. He is survived by three sisters: Mary L. Fiore, Janie Jarrell and Anna E. Jewell; a brother Russell W. and his wife Deborah Jarrell; and several nieces and nephews. He was a US Air Force Veteran.
There will be a funeral service Friday, November 1, 2013, 10 a.m., in the chapel of the Middletown Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane Middletown. Burial will follow with military honors. The family would like to thank Dr. David Grise and his staff and the staff of the East Hartford Dialysis for their kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation. Rose Hill Funeral Home has care of arrangements.

Im having a really hard time today. Ive been having a hard time for the last year. I miss you. I cant deal with how much i miss you. The kids miss you. Damien was on a field trip and saw an exhibit on prosthetics and there was a leg and he said "Hey that looks like Uncles leg" lol. I figured u heard him and got a kick outta that.
Not a day goes by that I dont think about you. You know that though. Mom quit smoking. Almost 2 months now. I know your insanely proud of her. I am too.
I hope youre peaceful up there... I love you sooo much Uncle. Talk to you soon. ?
