I had the pleasure of working with Michelle at HIMCO. She had a great sense of humor, was smart and someone who enjoyed a good laugh. I will always remember the various pictures of her grandaughter as her screen saver on her computer. Michelle was so proud of her. I always appreciated how Michelle occasionally asked to see pictures of my children. It meant a lot to me. My sincere deepest sympathy goes out to John, and all of the family and friends of Michelle. She was and is a special woman.
God Bless,
Philip

Michelle hired me into Aeltus back in 98. I had the privilege of learning from her both professionally and personally. She would always light up when talking about her family. The boat shows, football games, graduations, Florida, golf and her princess Madison. I feel like I watched Madison grow up from all the pictures and screen savers at her desk. The first thing I did at HIMCO when I started working there was visit Michelle and get caught up on what Madison was doing! My deepest sympathies to her family.

I went to school w Michelle. She was on my bus route. Back then we were different people. Her and I were not close but we were classmates nonetheless. We grew up. Graduated. 22 yrs later our paths crossed. She's now married to John who is my fiance, Ted William's friend! We caught up some at our 25th class reunion. As uneventful as it seemed, all of our lives are touched. We walk similar paths and our lives are all interconnected sometimes without really knowing it. What I'll always remember about Michelle IS her smile.
My thoughts n prayers to everyone during this difficult time.

Our deepest sympathy to the entire Halvorsen/Croteau family. Everyone should be blessed enough to have the kind of relationship John and Michelle had. The true definition of "soul mates". How many couples after 33 years of marriage still walk out to the mailbox together? We are sad she is gone but her parents and Bobby are saying with a smile, she is here! God Bless

I grew up with John we went to school together since kindergarten. We lived in the same neighborhood and where friends after we left school. We would hang around at the McDonalds when cars seemed to be the most important things in our lives. John meet Shelly and you could see they where one of those couples that was just meant to be together. They started there lives and some of us moved away. The distance may be far my sincerest of sympathies to John and his family

To Michelle, and to the Halvorsen Family:
I had the pleasure of working with Michelle, and knowing her and the family for a long time. Our children grew up together and all became young men. Levi will always look up to you and John. You have always been special to us. You made so many people smile, and laugh. You will never be forgotten, and say hello to Bobby from us. We love you all.

Funny how time slips by. I remember Shelly and John cruising around in his cars back when hanging out was the thing to do. They were so much in love. Then came marriage and a family. They stayed together through thick and thin, and their love grew stronger. I always thought that when the busy-ness of raising kids was over we would somehow all find time to get together and hang out again. What's important is that John and Shelly appreciated each other and stayed in love as they promised each other that wedding day so long ago. I'm proud to count Shelly and John as my friends, sorry I missed out on seeing her raise her family, sad she left us so early, but happy she's with Bobby. My prayers are with you John.
