STONE, Mozelle F.
Mozelle F. Stone, 71, of Hartford, departed this life on Sunday, (August 4, 2013). She was born March 14, 1942 in Buena Vista, GA. Mozelle had a strong belief in her faith. Mozelle loved to fuss and always had to have the last word. Although she loved to fuss she had a big heart and would give to anyone in need. She enjoyed cooking, watching the soaps, and basketball. Mozelle is predeceased by her husband Waymond Stone; her brothers, Clinton (Shirley) Stewart Jr., and William (Mary) Stewart. Mozelle leaves to cherish her memories; three daughters, Tracey Stone of Jonesboro, GA, Leslie Stone of Hartford, and Cynthia Nicole Stone of Murfreesboro, TN; one brother Robert Stewart of Windsor; four sisters Grace (Hampton) Hicks of West Palm Beach FL, Mattie (Harry) Haynes of Atlanta, GA, Pearlene (Willie) Oates of Buena Vista, GA and Joann Bivins of Chicago, IL; three grandchildren Daniel Belton, Felicia Belton and Sewell Minto III.; and one great-grandchild London Lucy; her special and devoted friends Mary and Richard Walton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of her life will take place Monday, August 12, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. with calling hours from 10-11 a.m. at the Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 319 Barbour Street Hartford, CT 06120. Interment will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Hartford, CT. To the Family, Mozella was kind, loving woman. I remember her loving smile. Mozella helped me when I needed someone to baby sit my son, Corey. She helped me doing a bad time in my life. I will always remember her guideness. Tracy and sister God has taken an ANGEL he need in heaven.
