PERRETTA, Nancy
Nancy Perretta, 63, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Monday, (April 8, 2013). She was born Dec. 25, 1949 to the late Lucy (Turchetta) and Venture Perretta, and was currently employed by the CT State Police in Middletown. Nancy is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Wayne Grass of New Britain; and two brothers, John Perretta of Plainville, and Robert Perretta of Berlin. She will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews, Sandra and Simon, Emma, Owen, and Eliot Dowle of Newington, Amy Grass and Tom Torres-Onisto of Wethersfield, and Katlynn, Justin, Madison, and Jillian Perretta of Kensington. Nancy enjoyed family gatherings and adored spoiling the little ones! She was a loyal friend and a lover of music—all kinds! From Motown and Elvis to Big Band and Country, Nancy was happiest in her cowboy boots, tapping her foot to the beat of the music. No one knew more about twitter, TV, and movies than Nanc! She found peace and joy as a member of Wellspring Church and served the Lord faithfully.
A memorial service will be held in her honor Saturday, April 20, at 11 a.m. at Wellspring Church, 222 Lincoln Street, Kensington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Nancy's memory to Wellspring Church or the charity of the donor's choosing.

On behalf of the New Britain High School, Great Class of 1968, I send our deepest sympathy on the death of one of our alumna, Nancy Perretta. Nancy was voted most industrious person of our graduating class. She epitomized this by working energetically and devotedly for any of our class endeavors. We knew we could always count on Nancy to get things done in support of our class. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
In Sympathy,

Auntie Nanc...You took Amy and me to our first concert (Janet Jackson). You took us to get our ears pierced (mom was not impressed). Every Sunday, you'd give Emma and Owen all the money in your pocket so they could buy a treat after church (they were always impressed). At every holiday you would show up with more dessert than anyone could possibly eat. You were always there the minute we needed you. Our world is not the same without you in it. You will always be loved.

Auntie Nanc, you took me to my first concert and were always my go-to person to talk about pop culture, TV, and movies. You always gave my kiddos wherever money you had in your pocket so they could buy a treat. Can't imagine life without you. Love you!
