LaPOINTE, Normand E.
Normand E. LaPointe, 84, of Vernon, beloved husband of the late Magdelena T. (Betzel) LaPointe, passed away, Tuesday, (July 23, 2013). He was born April 10, 1929 in Rumford, ME the son of the late Ernest and Marie (Provencher) LaPointe. He served in the United States Army and Air Force during the Korean War and was a lifelong member of the VFW. He is survived by his children, Brigitte Shlatz of Stafford Springs, Norman LaPointe and of NH, and Richard LaPointe and his partner Joanne Guay of Vernon. He also leaves his grandchildren, Lisa Legasse, Holly Dube, Daniel and Ryan LaPointe, Jason LaPointe and his wife Liz, and Richard LaPointe and his partner Jamie Dagata; and one great-grandchild Brianna Dube.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Small & Pietras Funeral Home, 65 Elm St., Rockville, CT 06066. Burial will be private. For online condolences please visit: www.pietrasfuneralhome.com
