Dear Joan, Freddy and all the family.
Rose has shared this sad news with all of us. It is hard to understand the loss of someone so young. When we lost our dad, and then our mom before 80, I was very angry that they were ripped out of our lives so young. In the last 5 years, I have been an Eldercare Consultant. I have learned that there are a lot worse things than passing to young. Patty, like my parents, will never know the sadness and difficulties that old age can bring. They have all learned that this life was not the gift, but the test...and they passed the test early, with flying colors and are now enjoying their reward in heaven.
It is hard on us, because our hearts break from missing them, we have to try and get joy out of knowing they are happy and waiting to greet us in heaven.
You are all in my prayers at this sad time.

Joan, Freddy, and family, I am so saddened to hear of the death of Patty. Though it's been many years since I last saw her, she was a kind, sweet young woman. This picture looks like the Patty I knew and it made me smile to remember those good old times. I will keep all of you in my heart and my prayers as you grieve the loss of your daughter.
