Paul Papa Obituary
Paul James Papa, 64, of Lebanon, passed away on December 30, 2013 in Norwich. Funeral services with military honors will be held Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014 at 5 p.m. at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 - 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the AHM Youth Services, 25 Pendleton Drive, Hebron, CT 06248. Our deepest sympathy to all of Paul's family. He will be greatly missed by his HES family. I will miss his great smile and kind words he always had. Paulie aka Papa Smurf was one class act. A kind, wonderful, loving man who will be dearly missed by so many. A true friend in every sense of the word. Papa Smurf touched our hearts and forever lives inside us. We love you Papa Smurf, now an angel in heaven!!! XOXO

I will miss Paul. He didn't just visit my wife in the hospital several years ago, he brought a pot of Dunkin Donuts coffee.
When he attended the Veteran's day ceremonies at Hebron Elementary, he knew all the teachers and they loved him (particularly the ladies). You will be missed.
