It is hard to find the words to express how sorry I am for the loss of Paul. He will be missed by many, his joyful laugh, kind words, playful attitude. Very proud of his family, wife, (love you Jeanne) Kids, and grandkids. I loved the tour of their yard, he took great pride in it. My favorite memories are of the holidays when the families got together at my Dad's house. The great meals and the games we played together and on each other. Fun times that will always be cherished in my heart. I hope that there is some comfort in knowing he lived every day to it's fullest, he will be sadly missed but remembered with a smile.

It's so hard to believe that I won't be seeing Paul walking around the neighborhood anymore. He was always happy and friendly. Now heaven has another star and that star will be watching over all of us making sure we trim our bushes and cut our lawns.
My condolences to Jeanne and her family.

Such a sad loss. He always had a smile and gave you his time, always there to help when he could. Such a gentle, kind man. Our thoughts are with you, Jeanne, and your family.

I am having a hard time finding the words to describe why Paul was so very special to me. Thru my whole life there never was "a Jeanne without a Paul". I remember when growing up and they were heading back home to see the family in Berlin, all we would be saying or hearing is " Jeanne & Paul are coming ". We looked forward to their visits like Christmas .I have spent alot of vacations with them and also counting down to the time they would retire and move to Florida. Finally they move here and I confess the first thing I did before they ever got down here is buy my pond kit and waited for Paul to show up. I don't even remember if I asked him for help, but once he saw the kit he must have figured "I guess I have a job to do ". We have enjoyed so many good times,
laughs , jokes and Paul was probably the nicest gentleman I ever knew. He was my" brother in heart" not brother in law, he was way more then that. He has made my sister a wonderful husband, friend, soulmate and partner in life. I pray Jeanne finds some peace in remembering the 55 years they spent together and not just concentrate on his passing. She has mamy memories to share and stories to tell to help comfort her famil y.I have no doubt that when it is her time, Jeanne will have open arms to greet her. May you all find peace in your heart.

Abundant life is evident, constant, fresh and new, a garden of provision with eternity in view. We will always cherish the memory of Paul in his gardens. Our sincere condolences to Jeanne, Shirley, Paul and their families. Paul, Jeanne, George and I shared forty years of friendship and that friendship, George and I will always remember. Julia and I first met Paul and Jean ten years ago when they moved into our neighborhood here in Davenport, Florida. As our friendship grew, we came to admire Paul for his lust for life, endless energy, positive attitude, and unhesitating willingness to lend a helping hand. While our lives are lessened by this loss of a friend, we will always be rewarded by the memories of the good times and friendship he has left us.
